About Tom Gugliotta
Tom Gugliotta was a first-team All-ACC selection at North Carolina State from 1988 to 1992 and began his career in the NBA in 1992 after being selected in the 1st round as the 6th overall pick by the Washington Bullets. During his 13 seasons in the league he averaged 13 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists over 763 games. His best season came in 1997 when he scored 20.6 points per game and earned his first NBA All-Star selection. His other notable performances include earning NBA All-Rookie Frist-Team honors in 1993 and nearly topping his career high in 1998 with 20.1 points per game. During his career he saw time with the Bullets, Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves, Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks from 1992 to 2005 and scored a total of 9,895 points to go along with 5,589 rebounds and over 1,000 assists.
