About Anderson Varejao
Anderson Varejao was a longtime veteran forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Varejao played an important role for the Cavs’ during both of LeBron James’ stints with the team. He was named to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team in 2010. Varejao’s rebounding and timely scoring were sought after qualities during his NBA tenure. The postseason trips he was apart of are among the most memorable moments in Cleveland sports history. He has also been a frequent international competitor for Brazil and competed for his country at the 2012 Olympics. Varejao was originally drafted in 2004 by the Oralndo Magic, but traded shortly after. Varejao made a name for himself in Euroleague with Barcelona. The team won their first Euroleague championship with him in 2003.
