About Marian Gaborik
Marian Gaborik is a three-time NHL All-Star who plays for the Los Angeles Kings. Gaborik first starred for the Minnesota Wild and is the franchise’s all-time leading goal scorer. The Wild selected him third overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. Gaborik has also played for the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets. He joined the Kings for the 2014 stretch run, had a league best 14 goals in the playoffs, and helped them win the Stanley Cup. For his native Slovakia, Gaborik competed in the 2006 and 2010 Olympics. The Marian Gaborik Foundation works towards expanding and improving youth hockey in Slovakia. Gaborik has even built a rink in his hometown of Trencin. He began his pro career in the Slovak Extraliga and has played there at times even since he joined the NHL.
