About Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins
Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins is a three-time Summer X-Games gold medalist in skateboarding. Overall, she has eight X-Games medals, all but one of them coming in vert. From 2003-2010, Adams Hawkins won an X-Games medal every year except for 2006 when she was recovering from ACL surgery. Hawkins is a trailblazer for other female skaters. She was the first female to skate the DC Mega Ramp, do a flip-kick-indy, and land a 540 McTwist. At the age of six she started skating. Hawkins is married to extreme sports athlete Travis Pastrana. She is from San Diego, California and lives in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California. Hawkins serves as an Athlete Advisory Panel member to the Women’s Sports Foundation.
