About Alissa Czisny
Alissa Czisny is a two-time U.S. national figure skating champion. She also was the 2011 Skate America champion, a two-time Skate Canada champion, and the winner of the 2010 Grand Prix Final. Her Skate Canada win in 2005 was what first garnered her national attention. Czisny was featured on the 2006 TLC series “Ice Diaries”. She has a unique clockwise jumping style. Both she and her twin sister Amber started skating prior to their second birthdays. Czisny graduated summa cum laude from Bowling Green State University. Several injuries prohibited her from competing for a spot on the 2014 Olympic team. She retired from competition in June 2014. Czisny still is a coach and skating performer, going on tours like Stars on Ice.
