Kenny Anderson Biography

Kenny Anderson was a top-notch NBA point guard for 15 seasons.  The New Jersey Nets originally made him the second overall pick in the 1991 NBA Draft.  Anderson made his only All-Star team with the Nets in 1994 and finished the seasons with averages of 18.8 points and 9.6 assists per game.  He ended up playing for eight other teams in his career, finishing with over 10,000 points and 5,000 assists.  Anderson was one of the best players in Georgia Tech history and led the team to the Final Four in 1990.  In 1991, he scored over 26 points per game, was a consensus first-team All-American, and earned his second All-ACC first-team selection.  There is one place however where Anderson is even more legendary: New York City.  The Queens, New York native was a three-time Parade All-American, continuing a tradition of great point guards to emerge from the Big Apple.
