About Ilya Sorokin
Ilya Sorokin is an All-Star goaltender for the New York Islanders. Sorokin was originally selected in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft by the Islanders, but went on to play several pro seasons in Russia. He originally made his NHL debut in 2021 and made his first All-Star team in 2023. Sorokin has been playing for Russia's national team for several years as well, winning gold at the 2018 Olympics and earning three World Championship bronze medals.
