Diego Brandao Biography

Diego Brandao is a native of Brazil and has put his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai skills to good use in the cage since 2005.  As a mixed martial artist he has posted an 18-10 career record in the ring and has posted a 5-3 record in the UFC since making his debut in 2011.  During his second fight in the UFC he captured The Ultimate Fighter 14 Featherweight Tournament championship and became the first Brazilian to win The Ultimate Fighter.  A Fight of the Night winner and winner of the Submission of the Night, he is a multitalented fighter with a unique combination of patience and aggressiveness that pays off in the high stress cage match atmosphere.  While appearing on The Ultimate Fighter he fought on Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts team.
