About Devon Alexander
Devon Alexander didn’t earn the ring name “Alexander the Great” by losing boxing matches. With an overall pro boxing record of 26-2, with 14 of those coming by knock out, he is one of the most respected and feared welterweight fighters in the world. When he squares up to his opponents with his trademark southpaw stance and uses his quickness to get inside and deliver devastating blows it’s apparent why he gets his reputation. After an amateur career record of 300-10 he moved on to the pro ranks and quickly became a championship contender. After several years of working his way up the ladder he won both the WBC and IBF Lightweight Championships and would go on to win the IBF Welterweight Champion. In 2014 he set himself back on track to being crowned champion yet again, and will no doubt continue to be one of the top fighters in the world for years to come.
