About Holly Holm
Holly Holm is a mixed martial artist who currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. She got her start in MMA in 2011 after a successful boxing career in which she won multiple championships compiling a 33-2-3 record in just over 10 years. After a few amateur MMA fights, Holm debuted with Bellator MMA with a second round TKO victory. Holm then went on to fight with Legacy Fighting Championship, winning three straight fights and gaining recognition within the mixed martial arts crowd. In July 2014, UFC announced that they had signed Holm to a multi-fight contract, but she was forced to back out of her debut fight at UFC 181 due to her suffering an undisclosed injury during training.
She is the former UFC Bantamweight Champion. On November 14, 2015, Holm defeated Ronda Rousey in the main event of UFC 193. With this victory, Holm ended Rousey's undefeated streak and three year reign as champion. Holm is trained by famed MMA coach Mike Winkeljohn at Jackson/Wink MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
