About Cody Zeller
Cody Zeller is a center for the New Orleans Pelicans. Zeller spent the first nine years of his career with the Charlotte Hornets. Zeller was born in 1992 in Washington, Indiana. He attended high school in his hometown and was named Mr. Indiana Basketball his senior year, a prestigious title that both of his elder brothers had previously received. Also becoming the Gatorade Player of the Year and being ranked by ESPN as 2011’s 13th best overall recruit, Zeller went on to play college basketball for Indiana University. Having the opportunity to leave as a sophomore as he was projected as a top ten pick for the 2012 NBA Draft, Zeller honorably chose to stay with his Indiana Hoosiers to finish out the 2012-13 season, finishing the regular season as the conference’s third-highest scorer. The following year, he entered the 2013 NBA Draft and was selected fourth overall by the Hornets.
