About Andre Drummond
Andre Drummond is one of the NBA’s most dominant centers, now currently with the Philadelphia 76ers. Drummond spent the first seven seasons of his career with the Detroit Pistons. He has led the league in rebounding five times and was an All-Star in 2016. Drummond has posted at least 13 rebounds in every season since his rookie year. Drummond originally made waves in the league as the MVP of the Rising Stars Challenge in 2014 and a second-team NBA All-Rookie. In 2014, he joined Team USA Basketball and took home a gold medal at the FIBA World Cup. Drummond was originally drafted by the Pistons with the ninth overall pick in 2012. As part of a newer NBA rule, he played one mandatory college season at UConn, averaging ten points and 7.6 rebounds a game. The Huskies were eliminated in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Coming out of high school, Drummond was rated the number one prospect in the Class of 2012 by ESPN and number two by Rivals.com and Scout.com. He led St. Thomas More in Oakdale, Connecticut to a national prep championship in 2011.
