About Brad Scott
Brad Scott had a lengthy career in college football coaching. He is best known for serving as the head coach at South Carolina from 1994-98. He led the program to two winning seasons. In his first season, the Gamecocks won their first bowl game in school history. After leaving USC, Scott spent time as an assistant coach at Clemson from 1999-2011. He gained a great reputation in the business as an assistant at Florida State under Bobby Bowden for 11 years. Scott began his coaching career as an assistant at DeSoto County High School in 1979. He went on to be the head coach at Hardee County HS in 1980, a graduate assistant at The Citadel in 1980 and the head coach back at DeSoto in 1981.
