About Bill Cowher
Bill Cowher is a former NFL coach. His coaching career began in 1985, but Bill is best known for his coaching of the Pittsburgh Steelers for a span of 15 years from 1992-2006. During his coaching career Bill led the team to eight division titles, 10 playoff appearances, 21 playoff games, and two Super Bowl appearances. The Steelers had the best record of any team in the NFL while under Cowhers leadership. Another claim that only five other coaches in NFL history can make is that Bill led his team to at least seven division titles during his NFL career. After 15 great years Cowher stepped down as coach of the Steelers on January 5, 2007. Just over a month later he found a new home as part of The NFL Today on CBS broadcast team with other well-known football personalities, where he is still an analyst to this day.
