About Vladimir Tarasenko
Vladimir Tarasenko is one of the top Russian scorers in the league today. The St. Louis Blues originally selected him 16th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He debuted two years later and has since been named to three All-Star teams. In each of Tarasenko's first four seasons in St. Louis, they made the playoffs. Russia has often called upon Tarasenko in international competition. He was part of a gold medal team at the 2011 World Junior Championships and competed for his country at the 2014 Olympics. His father, Andrei, is a former Russian league scoring champion.
