Tyrese Maxey Biography

Tyrese Maxey is an emerging guard for the Philadelphia 76ers. Maxey jumped on the radar for the Sixers immediately after being selected in the first round of the 2020 NBA Draft. He scored 39 points in his first game, the most for a rookie in his debut since 1970. Maxey averaged eight points per game that season and was an important player off the bench for one of the league's best teams. Prior to the NBA, he spent one season at Kentucky, averaging 14 points per game and earning All-SEC Second Team honors.
