About Andrew Wiggins
Andrew Wiggins is a star for the Miami Heat. Wiggins already established himself as an impact NBA player during his first five seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves.Wiggins averaged 20 points per game twice in his Wolves tenure. On All-Star Weekend 2014, he announced his presence to the league by winning MVP honors at the Rising Stars Challenge. The Cleveland Cavaliers originally selected Wiggins with the top pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, but he was shipped away later that offseason in a deal that netted the Cavs perennial All-Star Kevin Love. Despite spending just a year in college at Kansas, he made an impression. Wiggins averaged over 17 points per game on the way to second-team All-American and first-team All-Big 12 honors. As a high schooler, he was the most touted prep star since LeBron James and won the Gatorade and Naismith Prep Player of the Year awards in addition to being a McDonald’s All-American. Wiggins is a Toronto, Ontario native and is leading a current generation of Canadian basketball stars.
