Tim Lincecum Biography

Tim Lincecum, known as “The Freak” for his small stature but big time results, is a big league ace with two Cy Young Awards to his name. At only 5’11, 170, his huge stride produces an overpowering fastball with secondary pitches to make any hitter weak in the knees and far beyond the curve. During his first few years in the league from 2007 to 2010 he dominated hitters unlike any other pitcher in the game, capturing two NL Strikeout Championships and leading the league in shutouts in 2009. Thus far in his young career he has been voted to four All-Star games and thrown two no-hitters in back-to-back years in 2013 and 2014. Perhaps his most notable accomplishment however is his three World Series Championships, earned during a four-year span in 2010, 2012, and 2014. In his first seven seasons he has accumulated a 101-79 overall record with a 3.59 earned run average and 1,644 strikeouts. He’s the real deal, and always a forced to be reckoned with when he takes the bump in any big league park.
