About Shane McClanahan
Shane McClanahan is a star pitcher for the Tampa Bay Rays. McClanahan made his major league debut in the postseason for the Rays in 2020. He was the first-ever pitcher to have his first game in the playoffs. He followed that stint up with a strong rookie season, going 10-6 with a 3.43 ERA and 141 strikeouts in 123 1/3 innings in 2021. The Rays originally selected McClanahan in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft. He played college baseball nearby at the University of South Florida.
