About Aaron Boone
Aaron Boone has been the New York Yankees manager since 2018, leading the perennial contender to routine postseason births. He originally built a sterling reputation in Major League Baseball Player over a 13-year playing career
Boone originally debuted with Cincinnati Redsand earned an All-Star bid with the club in 2003. He came to be defined by his postseason heroics with the Yankees after being traded to them later that season. Boone's name was etched in the history books after hitting the game-winning walk-off home run in that year's American League Championship Series.
He played for several more teams through the 2009 campaign. Boone then jumped into broadcasting in retirement, serving as a Baseball Tonight and Sunday Night Baseball analyst before being hired in New York.
