Seth Petruzelli Biography

Seth Petruzelli competed as a professional mixed martial artist and kickboxer from 2000 to 2013. He got his start in MMA at the age of seven and was a three-sport star in high school before turning pro. Although he received several offers to wrestle in high school he decided instead to pursue his fighting career but did end up earning his degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida. With a 3rd degree black belt in Shito-ryu Karate and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu he entered The Ultimate Fighter 2 as a Heavyweight and made it to the semi-finals before making his debut in the UFC in 2006. During his MMA career he has posted a career record of 14-8 with 12 of his wins coming by knockout. In 2008 he opened his own MMA gym in Orlando, Florida called “The Jungle” where he continues to train and train other fighters to compete on the amateur and professional MMA circuits.
