Ryan Hollins

Ryan Hollins is most famously recognized as a 7-foot center in the National Basketball League. Hollins grew up in Pasadena, California in the mid 1980’s and ‘90’s where he starred on his high school basketball team. While he originally signed with St. Louis University, he was allowed to withdraw his letter of intent due to a head-coach transfer and ultimately attended the University of California Los Angeles. Throughout his four-year collegiate career at UCLA, Hollins certainly made a name for himself while amassing an impressive number of rebounds as an accomplished high jumper. Not surprisingly, Hollins height, talent and dedication made him a second round pick in the 2006 NBA draft by the Charlotte Bobcats. Since his professional debut, he has also played for the Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers. Hollins was most recently traded to the Sacramento Kings, where he continues to serve as a tremendous contribution to their roster and exemplify great citizenship on and off the court.
