About Rose Lavelle
Rose Lavelle is one of the rising stars of the U.S. women's national soccer team. She was originally called up to the senior national team in 2015. Lavelle made her first appearance for Team USA in 2017. She starred for the U.S. U-18, U-20 and U-23 squads. Lavelle was also a standout on the pitch at the University of Wisconsin. She debuted as the Big Ten Freshman of the Year after scoring six goals in 2013. During her junior campaign in 2015, she became the first Badger to be named a first-team All-American since 1991. She was also a semifinalist for the Hermann Trophy that year. Lavelle was a two-time Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and was named first-team All-Big Ten each of her four years at UW. On the club side, the Boston Breakers selected Lavelle with the first overall pick in the 2017 NWSL College Draft.
