About Riddick Bowe
Riddick Bowe is a retired boxer. Known as Big Daddy, Riddick is a former two-time World Heavyweight Champion. As an amateur, Bowe showed great potential when he won the prestigious New York Golden Gloves Championship as well as the silver medal in the 1998 Seoul Olympics on his way to a 104-18 amateur record. It was after the Olympics when Bowe turned pro and in his first stent as champion in his professional career he won the WBA, WBC, and IBF titles becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion. BoweÂs greatest claim to fame came in 1992 when he became the first person to defeat Evander Holyfield. While one victory against Holyfield was unbelievable, just three years later he became the first person to deliver a knockout blow to Holyfield and beat him a second time. Riddick has fought in 45 bouts with a 43-1-0 record earning him the title of the 21st greatest heavyweight fighter of all time in 2010
