Brian Custer Biography

Brian Custer is a sports analyst who currently works as the host of Showtime Championship Boxing and as host/play by play broadcaster for ESPN. Custer previously worked at FOX Sports, where he called NFL, college footbal, college basketball and Big3 basketball games. He was also  a host of Jets Post-Game Live show on SNY networks as well as serving as a co-anchor for the station’s SportsNite programs. A graduate of Hampton University, Custer started his radio and television career with his hometown 610 WTVN station, doing various on air and on television sports work. His first job as an anchor came with ABC affiliate WSYX-TV, where he was the station’s sports anchor for two years. The most recent job before his current one was with CBS-11 in Dallas, where he spent eight years working as a sports anchor for the channel.
