Bonnie Bernstein

Bonnie Bernstein is one of the most respected and accomplished sports journalist and female sportscasters in history.  After a hall of fame athletic career at Howell High School in Howell, New Jersey she matriculated to the University of Maryland and became a four-time Academic All-American gymnast.  Upon earning her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism she became the news and sports director at WXJN-FM radio in Delaware and then saw time with several ABC affiliates in Maryland before landing a job as the first ever weekday sports anchor at an NBC affiliate in Nevada.  In 1995 she signed on as the Chicago Bureau Chief at ESPN, and went on to become a correspondent on such hit shows as College GameDay, Sunday NFL Countdown, and SportsCenter.  From 1998 to 2006 she returned to CBS Sports and served as a sideline reporter for the NFL on CBS, Monday Night Football, the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments and NCAA Women’s Gymnastics tournament.  In 2006 she returned to ESPN as a field reporter for Sunday Night Baseball and became a studio host on several high profile shows like Outside the Lines, First Take and NFL Live.  Since that time she’s been hired as the vice president of content and brand development for campus insiders and also freelances for ESPN, espnW, The Dan Patrick  Show and DirecTV while also serving as a guest commentator on NBC, Fox News Channel and MSNBC.
