About Ed Werder
Ed Werder was one of the leading voices of the NFL for ESPN for two decades. Werder began his as a beat writer for the Dallas Cowboys, a role he went on to have with The Orlando Sentinel and the Denver Broncos. He was also a correspondent for Sports Illustrated and an NFL reporter for The National. Werder first took the national stage as an NFL correspondent for CNNs first season of CNNs Sports Tonight and CNNs Sunday NFL Preview. From there Werder joined the crew at ESPN in 1998, mainly providing coverage for breaking NFL stories. He maderegular appearances for ESPN shows such as SportsCenter, NFL Live, Sunday NFL Countdown, and Monday Night Countdown.
