About Rashard Lewis
Rashard Lewis is a former power forward in the NBA. Rashard started playing at a young age and was a highly recruited player for schools like Florida State, Kansas, and Houston, but unlike most players who decide to play at least a year in college, Lewis opted to go directly into the NBA Draft out of high school in 1998. He was selected as the 32nd overall pick and went to the Seattle SuperSonics. Lewis played his first nine seasons in the league with Seattle where he became the teams record holder for 3 point shots made. Since early in his career Rashard has played for several other teams including the Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards, New Orleans Hornets, and most recently with the Miami Heat. In that span of time he became USA Mr. Basketball in 1998, a two time All-Star, as well as an NBA Champion at the end of the 2013 season.
