Rachel Van Hollebeke

Rachel Van Hollebeke is a Del Mar, California native and was a three-year captain for the Stanford University Cardinals soccer team. During that time she was earned first team All-Pac-10 and NSCAA First Team All-American honors and helped the Cardinals to incredible success on the pitch. During her final year she was named the ESPN Academic All-American of the Year, proving that she was a well-rounded player and true leader both on and off the field. Since that time she has been a standout club player, seeing time with the FC Gold Pride, Boston Breakers, Atlanta Beat and Portland Thorns FC since 2009. She has also been a stellar defender on the United States National Team, beginning her career on the Under-19 team and working her way up from the U-21 and U-23 team to a spot on the premier national team in 2008. Thus far in her international career she has made 102 starts for Team USA and been a part of both their 2008 and 2012 Olympic gold medal teams.
