During her illustrious career, soccer star Alex Morgan was USA’s it girl.Morgan was a collegiate All-American, Olympic Gold Medalist, U.S. Soccer Female Athlete of the Year, and finalist for the FIFA World Player of the Year, Off the pitch, she has also been a model, best-selling author, and one of the most sought after brand ambassadors in the world.
Morgan became one of the most popular athletes in the world after joining the USA Women’s National Soccer team in 2010 and leading them to the finals of the 2011 FIFA World Cup. In 2012 she earned the Best Breakthrough Athlete Award at the ESPY’s and then led Team USA to a Gold Medal at the London Olympics.
Her impressive endorsement portfolio includes deals with Nike, Panasonic, Coca-Cola, Bank of America and GNC. Along with appearances on television shows like SportsCenter she’s also appeared in the 2012 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and in numerous other publications. In 2012 she released the first of a three-book series called The Kicks, which would debut at No. 7 on The New York Times Best Seller list.
