About Peter Kostis
Peter Kostis is a CBS analyst and noted golf instructor. Kostis has been with CBS since 1992 and was also an analyst for USA Network from 1989-2004. With SwingVision, he won an Emmy by simply breaking down the motion of a golfer. His Peter Kostis Learning Academy is based out of Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has trained pros and celebrities alike and even helped Kevin Costner perfect his swing for the film Tin Cup. Kostis also is a member of Golf Digest’s Professional Panel and had been their head instructor. His name has been on Golf Digest’s Top 50 and Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teacher Lists. Kostis’ foray into golf began as an Assistant Professional. In June 2013, he underwent surgery for colon cancer and is now cancer free. Kostis is originally from Sanford, Maine.
