About Chris Petersen
Chris Petersen was one of the top coaches in college football for nearly two decades. In six seasons at the University of Washington, he led the Huskies to two Pac-12 titles and one appearance in the College Football Playoff. Before taking over at UW in 2014, Petersen established his reputation as one of the best in the business at Boise State. He quickly made a name for himself and the Broncos as they became only the second non-BCS conference school to play in a BCS bowl game in 2006. The Broncos defeated the Oklahoma Sooners in the Fiesta Bowl with the help a few trick plays that led to one of the most exciting bowl games in recent memory. Only three seasons later, Petersen took the Broncos to the Fiesta Bowl yet again, taking home another BCS win and finishing ranked 4th in the AP Coaches Poll. Petersen went 92-12 overall at Boise and won national coach of the year awards in 2006, 2009 and 2010.
