About Pekka Rinne
Pekka Rinne is one of the greats in Nashville Predators history. Rinne was a four-time All-Star and a three-time finalist for the Vezina Trophy. He won the Vezina for the first time in 2018. The previous season, he capped off another fantastic season by helping an underdog Nashville team to the Stanley Cup Final. In 2011, Rinne was named a Second Team All-Star and led the Predators to their first Stanley Cup Playoff series win. The Predators originally selected Rinne in the eighth round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the franchise during the 2005-06 season. Rinne has represented Finland in five World Championships. He was named the World Championship MVP after leading the Fins to a silver medal. The following year, Rinne was selected as Best Goaltender at the World Championships.
