About Bobby Clarke
Bobby Clarke played 15 seasons in the NHL with the Philadelphia Flyers from 1969 to 1984. Clarke was born in in Flin Flon, Canada and began playing hockey as a youngster at the age of eight. In the 1969 NHL Amateur Draft he was selected 17th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers and would go on to have one of the most impressive careers in NHL history. During his time in the league he scored 358 goals and added 852 assists for a total of 1210 points in 1,144 games. He also added 42 playoff goals and 77 playoff assists for a total of 119 points in 136 playoff games in route to leading his team to Stanley Cup titles in 1974 and 1975. Clarke was an eight-time NHL All-Star, three-time winner of the Hart Memorial Trophy and two-time winner of the Brownridge Trophy. Internationally, he helped Canada to a Gold Medal in the 1976 Canada Cup and a bronze medal in the 1982 World Championships. Clarke is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, Canada Sports Hall of Fame, and Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame.
