About Luc Robitaille
Luc Robitaille played 19 distinguished seasons in the NHL, most notably with the Los Angeles Kings. Robitaille was an eight-time NHL All-Star and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2009. He came up with the Kings, played alongside Wayne Gretzky, and had his number retired by the franchise. Robitaille played over 1,000 games with the Kings and is their all-time leading goal scorer. He also set NHL records for goals and points by a left winger. Only one other player drafted in ninth round or lower has scored over 1,000 points. With the Detroit Red Wings in 2001-02, Robitaille won a Stanley Cup. Since retirement, Robitaille has been the President of Business Operations for the Kings. The team has won two Stanley Cups during this period of time and also provided one of the best fan experiences in hockey. Robitaille became a U.S. citizen in 2004.
