About Brett Hull
Brett Hull is a former NHL player and general manager who is currently the executive vice president of the St. Louis Blues. Prior to his time in the NHL, Hull was a standout collegiate player, playing two seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Hull was a feared offensive force, and he was a finalist for the best NCAA hockey player award during his sophomore season. In 1986, Hull decided to forgo his final two seasons at UMD and turned professional, signing with the Calgary Flames. Hull made his debut during the 1986 Stanley Cup Finals, and the Flames ultimately lost in five games to the Montreal Canadians. In 19 seasons, Hull played with five different teams, including the Calgary Flames, the St. Louis Blues, the Dallas Stars, the Detroit Red Wings, and the Phoenix Coyotes. Hull was an eight time All Star and a two time Stanley Cup Champion, and he retired in 2005, ending his storied playing career. In 2009, Hull was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, and he currently works for the St. Louis Blues, working in their executive Vice President role.
