About Mike Pawlawski
Mike Pawlawski is a former professional quarterback whose inspiring journey overcame severe childhood lung disease. Encouraged by his parents to build resilience through sports, he starred at UC Berkeley, leading the Golden Bears to consecutive bowl games, including the 1991 Aloha Bowl win, and earning Hall of Fame honors and Pac-10 Co-Offensive Player of the Year. Drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1992, Pawlawski played in the NFL, Arena Football League, and XFL. His 1996 season with the Albany Firebirds saw him rack up 4,000+ yards and 69 touchdowns, culminating in an ArenaBowl XIII title in 1999 with a record 79 TDs. Transitioning to media, he became an award-winning broadcaster for NBC Sports, Fox, and ABC, and produced “Gridiron Outdoors” (2012). A bestselling author of “Every Day Great: The Playbook For Winning At Everything” (2024), Pawlawski now coaches executives and athletes through Pawlawski Martin Leadership, delivering keynote speeches on mindset, resilience, and high-performance habits to elite executives and high-performing athletes.
