About Miguel Rojas
Miguel Rojas is a veteran MLB utility infielder renowned for his defensive versatility and clutch playmaking, making him a 2025 World Series Champion hero for the Los Angeles Dodgers. The right-handed shortstop/second baseman/third baseman signed as an amateur free agent with the Cincinnati Reds in 2006, debuting with the Marlins in 2014 after minor league stints. Rojas spent eight seasons with Miami (2014–22), slashing .255/.308/.357 with 25 HRs and Gold Glove-caliber defense at shortstop. Traded to the Dodgers in January 2023 on a three-year, $15M deal, he became a key reserve, stepping up as the everyday shortstop in 2024 amid injuries. In 2025, he played 114 games across infield spots before the Dodgers' World Series repeat, capped with a Game 7-tying homer and stellar defense in Game 6 vs. the Blue Jays.
