About Mavrik Bourque
Mavrik Bourque is a Canadian professional ice hockey center for the Dallas Stars in the NHL. Born on January 8, 2002, in Plessisville, Quebec, he was selected 30th overall by the Stars in the 2020 NHL Draft. Bourque made his NHL debut on April 6, 2024, after leading the AHL with 77 points (26 goals, 51 assists) in 71 games for the Texas Stars during the 2023–24 season. His exceptional performance earned him the Les Cunningham Award as the league's MVP and the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the top scorer. Bourque is known for his high hockey IQ and playmaking abilities and is a promising talent in the Stars' lineup.
