About Matt Viator
Matt Viator is the former head coach at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Viator came to ULM after serving as the head coach at his alma mater, McNeese State for ten seasons. They made the FCS Playoffs five times. Viator's Cowboys teams won at least ten games three times. Before taking the reigns of the program, he was linebackers coach for one year and offensivecoordinator for seven seasons. Viator's coaching career began as an assistant at Sam Houston High School in 1986. He also had stints as a head coach at Vinton High School, Jennings High School and Sulphur High School.
