About Mathew Barzal
Mathew Barzal is a true star for the New York Islanders. Barzal was selected in the first round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft and made his debut the following year. During his first full NHL season, he was won the Calder Memorial Trophy. Barzal then made back-to-back All-Star appearances in 2019 and 2020. During his second All-Star trip, he won the fastest skater competition during the Skills Challenge. That year would end with Barzal helping get the Islanders to the Eastern Conference Finals.
