Jerome Tang Biography

Jerome Tang turned around the fortunes of Kansas State basketball in just one season. In his first year on the job, Tang guided the Wildcats to a 26-10 record and appearance in the Elite Eight. KSU finished third in the regular season in the Big 12. Tang earned Big 12 Coach of the Year honors. Prior to taking the K-State job, he spent a lengthy tenure at Baylor, first as an assistant from 2003-17 and then as associate head coach from 2017-22. Tang got his start in basketball as the head coach at Heritage Christian Academy, where he coached future NBA pro Von Wafer.
