About Jeremiah Trotter
Jeremiah Trotter is a former NFL linebacker renowned for his tenure with the Philadelphia Eagles. Drafted in 1998, “The Axe Man” played 11 seasons, earning four Pro Bowl selections. Known for his hard-hitting style, he amassed 703 tackles and 12.5 sacks with the Eagles. Trotter’s leadership shone during Philadelphia’s 2004 Super Bowl run. After stints with Washington and Tampa Bay, he returned to the Eagles, retiring in 2009. His son, Jeremiah Jr., now plays for Clemson, continuing the family legacy. Post-NFL, Trotter became a sports analyst, contributing to NFL Network and local Philadelphia media. He also coaches youth football, mentoring young athletes. Trotter’s community work includes supporting veterans’ charities, reflecting his commitment to service.
