About Jay Beagle
Jay Beagle is a former standout for the Washington Capitals. Beagle started his juniors career playing with the Calgary Royals in the AJHL. He went on to play college hockey for two seasons at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The Capitals signed him as an undrafted free agent and assigned him to the Idaho Steelheads. Beagle spent most of his time with the AHL's Hershey Bears for three seasons before making his debut in Washington in 2009. He has continued to be a more prominent player for the Caps. In 2016-17, he played in career-high 81 games and registered 30 points. Beagle also appeared in the playoffs with Washington six times.
