About Jack Flaherty
Jack Flaherty is one of the most talented pitchers in baseball. Flaherty broke out during his second season when he helped the St. Louis Cardinals get into the playoffs. During the 2019 season, he was the National League Pitcher of the Month in August and September. He posted a sub-1.00 ERA over the final two months of the season. Overall, Flaherty went 11-8 with a 2.75 ERA and 231 strikeouts. He was also solid as a rookie in 2018, sporting an 8-9 final record with a 3.34 ERA and 182 strikeouts. Flaherty first made his major league debut in 2017, the same year he was named Cardinals Minor League Pitcher of the Year. Flaherty experienced a steady climb through the St. Louis system after they originally drafted him out of high school in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft.
