Jac Caglianone

The baseball world recognizes Jac Caglianone as a versatile athlete who demonstrates exceptional abilities in both hitting and pitching. The native Floridian Jac Caglianone attended Henry B. Plant High School in Tampa where he received four-year letters for his athletic performance. During his senior year he maintained a .371 batting average while pitching with a 2.44 ERA to become a Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-American.

The University of Florida welcomed Caglianone to play first base and pitch left-handed after his high school career. The Gators reached the NCAA Division I Men's College World Series Semifinals during his 2024 season when he became the first player in school history to hit 35 home runs in a single year. His outstanding performance earned him First Team All-American honors unanimously and the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year award.

Caglianone dedicates himself to his studies as a history major while maintaining a 3.64 GPA. The 2024 Division I Baseball Academic All-America Team Member of the Year award went to Caglianone because of his outstanding academic and athletic performance.

The Kansas City Royals selected Caglianone as their 6th overall pick during the 2024 MLB Draft which became a major career achievement for him. The Quad Cities River Bandits received Caglianone after his Royals signing before he moved to the Omaha Storm Chasers in Triple-A. Throughout his time in the minor leagues he kept up a solid batting average and showed strong power hitting abilities.

Caglianone stands out in professional baseball because of his powerful hitting abilities and his ability to play multiple positions.
