About Forrest Griffin
Forrest Griffin is a retired mixed martial artist and UFC Hall of Famer. In college, Griffin trained at the HardCore Gym for five years under Adam and Rory Singer. Part of Griffin’s fame came when he decided to take part in the first season of The Ultimate Fighter, which is a MMA reality show. During his career, Griffin experienced many injuries. On May29, 2010 Griffin was pulled out of a fight against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira due to a shoulder injury. December 5, 2012, it was announced that he would be pulled out of a fight due to an MCL tear and ACL strain. On May 26, 2013 it was announced that Griffin had retired from MMA fighting due to chronic injuries. During his time as a MMA fighter, Griffin fought in a total of 26 fights and won 19 of them; 3 by knockouts, 7 by submission and 9 by decision. Griffin faced 7 losses; 5 by knockout and 2 by decision.
