About Michael Bisping
Michael Bisping has long been one of the most popular fighters in the UFC. Bisping has been a contender in the middleweight division since his switch from light heavyweight in 2008. In his final match as a light heavyweight, he became the first British fighter to participate in a UFC main event. His popularity has led to being a coach on two seasons of The Ultimate Fighter. Bisping actually got his start with the UFC on TUF, becoming the first non-American fighter to win the show in season three. Before joining the UFC, he was a perfect 10-0 in his professional MMA career. Bisping was the Cage Warriors Light Heavyweight Champion during this time and successfully defended his belt three times. He originally began jiu-jitsu training at age eight, but his forays into MMA were often interfered with by the need to pursue a more conventional career. Bisping currently resides in Orange County, California.
