About Sarah Kaufman
Sarah Kaufman is most famously known as a distinguished mixed martial artist originating from British Colombia, Canada. Kaufman was born in the mid 1980’s and was an avid dancer all her life, rehearsing everything from ballet to jazz to hip-hop. It was not until she joined an MMA school late in her childhood only to take an aerobics kickboxing class that she realized she would soon fall in love with the sport. She even attended two years at the University of Victoria aiming to become a cardiovascular surgeon before realizing that she wanted her career to focus on mixed martial arts. Since, Kaufman has obtained a total of 17 out of 20 wins. She has earned a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and fights out of Victoria, British Colombia for Zugec Ultimate Martial Arts Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts team. Most recently, she has signed a contract with four other women to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Kaufman continues to carry out her passion for fighting while making her fans proud.
