About Ersan Ilyasova
Ersan Ilyasova is a professional basketball player who plays for the Sacramento Kings. Born in Turkey, Ilyasova has also played in Turkey, Spain and the NBA development league. Ilyasova got his start in the Turkish Basketball league where he played for Ülkerspor during the 2004-05 season. In 2005, the Milwaukee Bucks drafted Ilyasova as the 36th overall draft pick. After being drafted by the Bucks, Ilyasova joined their NBA summer league. In November 2005, Ilyasova was assigned for a year to the Tulsa 66ers that are a part of the NBA developmental team. It was not until 2006 that Ilyasova made his debut for the Bucks. In 2007, Ilyasova became a restricted free agent. That same year, he signed a two-year deal with FC Barcelona and in 2009; he won a championship with them. In 2009, Ilyasova returned to the NBA with the Bucks, where he only played after the lockout. In 2012, Ilyasova resigned a multi-year extension with the Bucks.
